HAVE YOU HAD AN AUTO ACCIDENT?

auto_accident.jpgDid you know that even "fender-benders" can cause hidden injuries to your spine that might not show symptoms for months or even years from now...after you've already settled with the insurance company?

Yes, it's true!  Most people who have been in an auto accident may not even know that they've been hurt. People that feel immediate pain are usually sent to the hospital and told to take prescription pain-killers for their pain...BIG MISTAKE!

Why?  When an injury to the spine is not taken care of properly and when you, an accident victim, settle with the insurance company before you've even seen a Chiropractor, you lose the right to have the insurance company pay for your treatment, if you need it!

After an auto accident you can or most likely will have one or more of the following symptoms immediately or within a day or two of the accident:

Neck Pain

Headache

Shoulder Pain

Lower Back Pain

Dizziness

Blurred Vision

  Ringing In Ears

Nausea

Weakness

Fatigue

Numbness/Tingling of Hands or Feet

Chest Pain

AUTO ACCIDENT QUESTIONS & CONCERNS...

1.     I had an accident.  Now what?

See a reputable personal injury attorney!  If you do not have one, we can recommend one for you.

2.     I found a personal injury lawyer.  Now what?

See a Chiropractor!  Even if you think it was a minor accident such as a fender-bender, your attorney should advise you to immediately see a Chiropractor.

3.    I can't afford to pay for Chiropractic care?

You DON'T have to!  When you see a lawyer, you get medical treatment on a "medical lien", meaning we (the doctors) do not get paid until your case has either settled or won.  We get paid by the insurance company, so you DO NOT pay a penny out of your pocket!

4.    Why should I see a Chiropractor when I already was taken to and checked out at a hospital?

ONLY A CHIROPRACTOR IS TRAINED TO EXAMINE AND ANALYZE YOUR SPINE FOR PROPER ALIGNMENT AFTER AN ACCIDENT! A Medical doctor examines for broken bones or malfunctioning organs.  You need a chiropractic spinal exam to ensure that your spine is free from vertebral subluxations, which left untreated can lead to Degenerative Disc Disease.

5.    The insurance company is calling and wants to settle while I'm still injured.  Should I?

NO!  You should not settle until you are fully healed and have been released from the your Chiropractic doctor's care!  Why?  If you settle before your spinal injuries are healed, any further medical problems you may have from the accident, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO PAY FOR YOURSELF!
